A Site is a geographical grouping of trials and inventory storage locations.
Site comes with the following system columns
|Column name||Column Description|
|SiteName||This field is for storing a unique name for a site in the database.|
Examples: The University, Hermitage Research Facility, Farm 2B
|TrialAcronymSuffix||This field is used for storing a series of 5 characters that can represent the site at the end of the Trial Acronym.|
When adding a site, Katmandoo will automatically generate the Trial Acronym suffix based on the site name.
Examples: brslc, TTA, gndwn
An initial Katmandoo installation only includes one site, called Unknown site.
